Observations From the Sofa

It’s time we had a talk. You’ve been avoiding me. You leave the room when I walk in. That’s something that I see.

We haven’t eaten together in quite a long time. You say you don’t feel like eating. You’d rather sip on wine.

Perhaps you are depressed. That’s the prevalent vibe. Is there something worrying you? What is it that you hide?

Recently you pulled back your hand when I reached out to you. You blocked me with a pillow. What do you want me to do?

This lack of communication is tearing us apart. No intimacy is forthcoming. I am fearful of a broken heart.

I believe in life you play the hand you’re dealt. But, I believe you’re being stingy with yourself.
